Just a quick tip on using DNN for staging quick and easy content updates...  If you need to stage content for internal review before you make it live – create a hidden copy of the page you want to work on.  Click on the page you want to edit – go to the copy page option on the top left and make a copy of the page.  Then in the page properties (shown when you copy), make sure the page stays hidden by leave uncheck the “Include In Menu?" option.  Now a key step here is be sure and copy the URL of the new page when you are done so that you can easily link back to it – remember its now hidden.

When coping the page you will be asked to Specify the Modules to be copied and in addition you will have to specify if you want to create a New module ( without content ), a Copy of the module ( with content ), or a Reference to an existing module ( shared content ), be sure to select the "Copy" mode, then your new content won't be shared with the content of the page you are making the copy from.

When you are done you can make your old page inactive by using the “Include In Menu?" option and then make the new page active by using the same option.   The new page will then appear on the menu of your website with the new content added.
